22 oz bottle from an IP trade with Richiesd (thanks again!), all by myself, to save on space and weight in my carry-on luggage...Pitch black color with a very dense brown head, good retention and lacing. Aroma's: a lot of vanilla, sweetness, bourbon, some coffee/mocha, a bit (hazel?)nutty and roast. Retronasal it's sweet, vanilla, light red fruit. Flavor is light heavy sweet with some fruit. Warming alcoholfeel. Medium bodied (could have been a wee bit fuller). Long finish with light roast and wood, a hint of bitterness. Very nice!

22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma and flavor have big vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, bourbon is well integrated probably because the double dose of vanilla from the beans and the barrel, light coffee notes, this one is as much about the vanilla as the green was about the hazelnut, rich, decadent, definitely worth the try if you get the chance.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2017 Bottle. Poured black color with a moderate frothy tan head that mostly lasted with excellent legs. Heavy toasted chocolate malt, wood and vanilla aroma. Copious body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Heavy toasted chocolate malt and vanilla flavor with a heavy dark vanilla sweet finish of long duration. This is a another standout beer.

Lots of thick black roast and molasses with vanilla and booze. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full thick bodied. Nice but maybe slightly too much licorice.
