Keg @ Pivovarsky Dum, Prague. Hazy straw golden, mid-size white head, rich lacing. Smoky aroma, toast and ham. Light and crisp mouthfeel, medium carbonated. Mild smoky taste, wheat bread, mineral water and ripe citrus. Short dry finish. Refreshing and a bit weird!

On tap at Pivovarsky klub, Prague. Hazy, cloudy to opaque from dirty yellow to dark golden, small frothy white head. Salted dry meat, smoked malts, hints of banana. Meaty taste, very full, goes from salty to light dry finish. Smoked cheese, smoky finish, lingering aftertaste. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. An excellent example of one of my favorite styles!

Special in November 2010. Hazy straw. The aroma is smoky, with hints of yoghurty tartness. Smokey, salty, sour and full-bodied. Creamy and maybe a little bit spicy. What a cool beer - my first grodiziskie beer, too. I’m not sure how many have even been made anywhere on earth in the last 20 years.
