Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of coffee beans and chocolate, really nice for someone like me who is generally not a fan of coffee beer. Sweet toffee malt flavour, with just a touch of coffee. Rather plain Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 6, 2009
Dark red-brown colored with little beige head. Coffee dominates this aroma with some milk chocolate tones. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also roasted coffee in start, aftertaste turns to sweet and caramelly. Rather watery palate, otherwise ok. Diar (121) - SWEDEN - MAY 31, 2009
(sampleglass at pivovarsky dum, Praha) It was a clear, dark amber beer without foam. The aroma is pure coffee. the taste is of roasted coffee. The palate is light and the aftertaste is... coffee. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2009
on tap at the brewery pours dark brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Coffee ice cream aroma. Light roasted malt, sweet coffee, and dark fruit meet a smokey dry finish. Creamy low carbonation mouth. Easy drinker, and the coffee works well with the dark maltyness. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JAN 17, 2009
Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague. August 08. Black with tanned head. Strong coffee aroma, malts and hop notes. Flavour is powdered coffee with a slight roastiness. A slight bitterness in the finish. An interesting beer.

On tap @ Pivovarsky Dum, taster. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, butter. Flavour is coffee, moccha, slightly sweet. Medium bodied. OK. JorisPPattyn (10121) - BELGIUM - SEP 29, 2008
Head gone in secs; black beer with orange linings. Sweet "coffee beans" (Belgian sugared coffeebean sweets), moccha. Coffee, watered down, "Ersatz" coffee, roasted barley. Thinnish MF, just the roast stepping in. Strange, if not undeserving. Coffee extract - I think Ersatz. KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2008
Dark brown with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 9, 2008
(6/24/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Prague. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has some roastiness, espresso and Turkish coffee. Sweetish flavor with roastiness and lots of Turkish "mud" coffee. Medium-bodied. Svesse (8962) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2008
(Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 19 July 2008) Very dark brown, almost black, with creamy pale brown head. Roasted nose with loads and loads of fresh coffee, notes of milky chocolate. Roasted, malty taste with lots of fresh coffee and some chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel, but fairly thin body. Not really complex, but a very nice beer with a brilliant coffee character.
