Dark lager with a fine and yet significant coffee flavour (coffee extract added). Very popular especially among our female clients.

Geiserich (4520) - Linz, AUSTRIA - DEC 6, 2006
Draught at the brewpub: Aroma with intensive notes of malt, roastiness and coffee. Frothy, brownish head, black color. Malty flavor with light hints of acid and intensive roasted malt notes. Intensive coffee flavor and light fruitiness.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2006
Draught @ Pivovarsky Dum. Darkish reddy brown with tan head and coffee beans. Sweet milky coffee flavours and underlying roasty malts. Although not overly sweet the sweet flavours soon become boring.

rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2006
Dark amber, almost black. Offwhite head. Coffee aroma, some cocoa and tar with sweeter notes. Sweet coffee flavor with chocolate notes. Some bitterness in the finish. Good, but a little thin in my opinion.

ganache (5903) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 14, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Pitch with a little mahogany peaking around the side. Tan, creamy head. Smells strongly of coffee with some coholate; finally, a strong aroma from this brewer! Taste is a bit of a letdown, though, not as strong as expected...light-bodied, coffee, coffee grounds, and dark chocolate. Medium-dry finish.

Draught at the brewpub.
Dark brown color, small white head. Mix of chocolate and coffee in the scent. Lots of lean chocolate taste, lean mouthfeel. A little bit of coffee in the aftertaste. A bit acid taste. When I sampled this a year ago I can remember not liking it at all. Either they’ve changed their recepie or I’ve gotten more used to these types of beers.

(Draught at the brewpub in PRague on June 24, 2008)
Clear reddish dark brown color, tan head. Dry coffee scent. Coffee and acidic taste. Coffee aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Radek Kliber (7359) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - MAY 30, 2006
Tap @ Brewpub. Dark woody look with neat creamy tan head. Refreshing, pleasant coffee aroma. Very good roast, dry mocha, chocolate. I can’t recollect better coffee aroma in beer before. Mocha, milky flavour. Some acidic character below. Great roasty character aroma was not translated into flavour.

troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAY 29, 2006
(Tap) Pours brown with very little head. Coffee flavor was very strong, but the body itself was pretty weak. One of their better flavored beers.

jrohn92 (105) - USA - MAY 22, 2006
This had an intense coffee aroma but thinner thatn most dark beers.

asheft (3082) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 19, 2006
[on tap at brewpub] Hazy and less dark than the tmavy; reddish black with clingy, lasting, light brown foam. Sweet coffee aroma. Fresh coffee syrup flavour with low bitterness and considerably weak overall (this is no espresso beer!). Modest sweetness. Pleasant, but artifical-like. Light body with low carbonation.

Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 11, 2006
Veyr nice, i am not a fan of Coffee, but this one was very good, aromatic and good flavor. Althoug not very addictive.
