Choos (753) - Taylors Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 27, 2003
Aroma was kinda spicy hops with a bit of formaldehyde. Yellow heading toward orange and fairly clear. Flavour was a little bit bland with a stale wheat flavour that I believe matches the formaldehyde in the aroma. Thin and bubbly. Overall it was drinkable but can't have too many of these in a row.

Sharp fruity and hoppy (saaz?) aroma. Thin body and not really assurtive enough with hops to be a decent beer.

This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a weak initial flavor and a light body.

Not one of my favourites I must say. There's something about the taste I do not like and it gets flat in a heartbeat.

TAP. Golden color with a moderate off white head. Light pale malts dominate the nose with hints of hops. Somewhat grainy and sticky. Somewhat typical import.

nickchalk (229) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2003
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2004 Very light golden, I got no head at all. Some nice faint smell of yeast. Mild taste, pretty simple. Hops are well pronounced, nothing else too interesting. All right everyday lager. 500 mL can.

Had this one bottled. Medium head that dissipated rapidly, slightly more bubbly than most, deep yellow color, very clear and bright, very mild hoppy taste. Clean but watery mouthfeel, aftertaste is dry. For a lager, this isn't bad.

Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 3, 2003
Pale yellow color with a thick head. Clean hop aromas follow through with a nice full feel in the mouth. There is a touch of sweetness that gives way to a dry finish. Aftertaste is mild, not bad for a lager.

Slight orange aroma. A little hopbitterness, with some orange in the flavor. Just a bit of soap in the aftertaste. Another average German lager....

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 16, 2003
Clear golden robe, generous white head with a decent stickiness, but short-lasting leaving just a film. Herbal and bready aroma, very malty with notes of hops (saaz?). Light bodied, sweet grassy taste and a decent bitter dry finish. I'd give it better notes wouldn't it be of the unpleasant DMS character.
