Half liter bottle looks more like the DAB Export variety, but marked as Original and 4,9% ABV.
Pretty solid looking lager, gold under an almost creamy head.
Fairly heavy malt aroma with perhaps the tiniest bit of grassiness. Carries on in the flavour. Softness is reminiscent of a Bohemian Pils. Rich malts of aroma carry over to the flavour with some sweetness.
Hop accents start early, but ar fairly soft, but still lasts some with the aftertaste. Better balance would work wonders for this brew, the taste is there but needs bigger hops, and more refined malt.
Still, before I became a beergeek this was to my mind the worst beer I had tasted. But really, it's ok! TheBeerCollector (633) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - FEB 7, 2004
Skunky aroma put me off at first but once you get past that the flavor is not too bad. Smooth and refreshing. Nothing special but would go down easy on a hot summer day. hershiser2 (3537) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 2, 2004
This is a very refreshing beer on a hot summer's day. It's smooth, easy on the taste buds, and leaves very little aftertaste. This is a very drinkable beer, though nothing overly special. It's much better than the "popular" beers that you can get anywhere. LeopardMan (53) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 31, 2004
Served in a 400ml.(?) tumbler.
Pale gold colour, barely any head and a mediocre, grassy flavour and aroma.
Not bad for NZ$2.2? per 500ml. can but hardly worth hunting down. Roli (405) - laval, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 8, 2004
I drank this one right off the can. Yeah, i know, i know, shame on me. But from what I tasted this was overall a good beer. Golden color, fruits in the aroma (orange?)and really smooth to drink.
Simple and honest.

Almost the only dryer style i can drink and enjoy but i love this. Dry, grassy, pure and clean. Big Aroma, smooth finish. Great to fit 3 stubbies in a stein and enjoy. Choos (754) - Taylors Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 27, 2003
Aroma was kinda spicy hops with a bit of formaldehyde. Yellow heading toward orange and fairly clear. Flavour was a little bit bland with a stale wheat flavour that I believe matches the formaldehyde in the aroma. Thin and bubbly. Overall it was drinkable but can't have too many of these in a row. Sharp fruity and hoppy (saaz?) aroma. Thin body and not really assurtive enough with hops to be a decent beer. maupie (1101) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - DEC 8, 2003
This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a weak initial flavor and a light body. bacdafucup (14) - Seltjarnarnes, ICELAND - DEC 8, 2003
Not one of my favourites I must say. There's something about the taste I do not like and it gets flat in a heartbeat.
