Average head with an oily aroma.
Some sweetness and an oliy palate. A bit too thin. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 18, 2003
Golden color. Malty, sweet aroma, somewhat oily. Oily also in flavor but not much of bitterness. Some malty flavor. WabashMan (1024) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - MAY 13, 2003
A decent medium gold color and fair white head start this one. Nose is pretty much typical lager...nothing special yet. The flavor is very "soft"...no real standout component (and not in that "well balanced" way). No bite either. Really, this one needs something to give it more character. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 1, 2003
Not too bad. Pours a light golden colour. Low, shortlasting head. Light taste. Crit (3995) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 29, 2003
Gold, fast fading white head. Sweet malt nose.Exceptionally light corn malt taste. Not much here

Nice green bottle nose, skunk. Golden with a thick light foam head. Extremely light in body and flavor, sweet pale malts. Thats about it though...Light bitter finish. I will prolly never drink this brew ever again, by choice at least. Crash (532) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2003

Bitter aroma--somewhat sour. Taste is a slight cut above lagerish but hardly memorable. Dull OKBeer (1171) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 7, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2006 500 ml can. Golden colour with a thick and mostly lasting frothy white head. Toasty, metallic, and perfume aroma. Toasted cereal, lightly grainy, biscuit flavours with a floral bitter finish. Light bodied, crisp mouthfeel. DrnkMcDermott (3099) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2003
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2003 Overall impression was more hoppy than I would've expected from a German style. My bottle poured out with a big head that settled down after a few minutes.
