Tap. Pours clear brown with a medium, fizzy light tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malt, dates, and agave. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, agave notes and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Pour is hazy brown with off white head on tap at the brewery, aroma had notes of fruity agave, some hints of nuts, caramel, and roast in there as well. Taste is a mix of some sweet fruit, hints of spice, caramel, nuts, hint of chocolate, finishes fairly bitter. Not bad. Dogbrick (13518) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours an amber-brown color with a thin light beige head that dissipates to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, tropical fruit and a bit of yeast. The finish is sweet and fruity with a bit of malt left over. Decent overall.
