Hazy dark nutty brown with a thin bubbly light beige head. Big rich nose of sticky toffee candy and s touch of pecan. The flavor though leaves something to be desired. A bit watery in the mouth with some generic brown ale malts and light toffee with a strange acidity at the finish.

Hazy dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, toffee scet, Sweet, toffee taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Draft at brewpub. Pouts coca cola brown with a thin khaki head. Big toffee extract on the nose. The toffee really comlements the roasted maltiness in the beer. Taste is fantastic as well. Lingers a bit. Probably best appreciated, as others have mentioned, as a digestif of sorts. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 30, 2012
No false advertising here, this one’s all about the toffee. Got some mocha and brown sugar in there, too, without being too sweet. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 3, 2011
On tap at the brewery, pour is nice dark brownish black with creamy tan head, aroma has notes of big, big toffee, almost artificial, with notes of caramel, coffee and coffee laced in there as well. Taste is big sweet toffee, some sweet chocolate and toffee, some slight roast goes back into sweet toffee, finishes with a hint of roast. Nicely done brew, the best I had there!

Smells like toffee. I mean, smells like a lot of toffee. Oh, sure, you get some chocolate and coffee in the background, but the toffee is front & center. The actual flavor is a little more muted, but still a good deal of toffee flavor. Heavy, robust body. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 15, 2011
On tap @ the breweria. Dark brown appearance with a foamy, creamy, brown head. I can smell the toffee extract from two feet away. Huge toffee aroma upon further inspection along with cocoa and toasty dark malts. The aroma reminds me of walking by one of those gourmet coffee shops in shopping malls. Toffee, dark chocolate, roasty dark malty flavor that’s really a dessert beer. Pretty rich. Roasty, toffee, chocolate aftertaste. Soft, slightly syrupy mouth feel. I’m usually not a big fan of adding extracts to beers but this is pretty fucking tasty.
