COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with Indian coriander and pears harvested at their peak of ripeness from Sanderson Farm in Keremeos, BC, Anno 2014’s blend of spice and fruit note make it an excellent companion for holiday eating. Its warming alcohol strength helps the drinker fend off the chill of winter and makes the beer a good candidate for cellar-aging.

beerplace (2045) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 10, 2017
On tap at Alibi during 800BC event. 2016 version, keg conditioned. Pours a murky opaque blonde with a white head. Aroma is spices, Belgian yeasts, flowery, slightly sweet. Taste very fresh, sweet, flowery, some hoppy bitterness. Very nice stuff in Belgium style.

cobaink2 (800) - seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 1, 2017
2015 variety. Opened and almost a gusher with a bit of sediment at the bottom. Spicy and a banana flavors abound. Not a bad beer. The alcohol it quite well hidden.

Bottle to tulip Consummation: Lots of fruity esters, wheat, pepper, coriander Adjunct: Light cloudy yellow with a huge frothy white head; aroma of banana and stone fruit with a lot of yeast

stantheman (1098) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2016
On tap at the Tangent Cafe in Vancouver. A cloudy yellow beer with a generous white head and fruity nose. Righty then, a spicy fruity Belgian style strong ale. The combination of coriander and pear is absolutely inspired! 4.1

A very nice change of pace without getting away from the Belgian base I prefer. The alcohol is nicely integrated, and the pear/coriander combination is just right. As they say, ideal for a winter’s night. I think I’ll buy some more.

vadie (1257) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2015

3.2
fiulijn (21292) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015
Cloudy light amber color with generous compact head. The spicy character of the yeast is very strong, with a clear component of coriander, but also with some vegetable traces; moderately sweet, with correct bitterness, and light salty presence.
An American Saison, not bad, but unexciting.

Oakes (18883) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 4, 2015
Quite cloudy with a thin, bleached head. Aroma has some dusty yeast, biscuity pale malts, and some delicate spice. Herbs, light sweet malts, brown sugar, light fruity, a mellow complex beer that belies its alcohol content.

Gerbeer (4024) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 24, 2014
650 ml bottle. Pours a turbid tawny/brown with moderate head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, old apples and pears, and doughy/toasted malts. Flavors apples/pears, spent yeast, and toast with a hint of citrus. Sharp at first with a bitter spicy finish. Does, look that great but quite enjoyable.

3.6
CapFlu (5132) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2014
Lasting white frothy head atop a sediment filled gold body. Nose of peppery yeast and lemons. Good stuff. Very light and refreshing.
