COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crowned with a fluffy, white head and graced with a fruity, spicy, citrusy aroma, Dageraad Blonde is the pride of our brewery. A closer inspection reveals a note of nutty pilsner malt, whiff of noble hops, faint note of caramelized sugar and—when the beer warms—a sweet, floral breath of alcohol. And all that before you’ve tasted it.

Decent enough tasty beer. Good citrusy flavour, doesn’t have to much going on and thus not much to complain about.

HogTownHarry (7287) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - JUL 23, 2017
December 4, 2014 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs and mabel - bomber. Hazy light gold, bubbly, with a small white head. Floral, vaguely bretty aroma - dry, some alcohol, a bit of tart fruit - coriander? juniper? Taste follows, but quite grassy, less flavourful. Average body, airy, quick finish; ultimately very simple, but terrific nose.

Hazy, cloudy. Little boozy. Light spice. Draft from Stillwell in Halifax. Not my favorite style.

beerplace (2393) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 7, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma, taste and aftertaste are spices, floral hops. Very good balanced beer with sophisticated residual sweetness.

AgentAle (1878) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 24, 2016
Aroma is sweet malts, clove, banana esters, citrus and yeast. Taste is sweet honey and hay with light farmhouse funk and a sweet tartiness. Well balanced. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Seriussly, even Burnaby has gots a brewery? I swear I cain’ts keeps up. But anyways this was found in Calgary of all places (funny they didn’t pop up when I was down in Van-Can-town last month) and pours with a big solid famy heady and okay foggy yellow body at a warm 9.3 degrees celcius. Lots of wheat and barn funk on the aroma. Flavour is heavy Belgian yeasts, hay, and funky wit notes. Really smart in fact, brings me back memories of the old country. Will look them up next time I’m in the GVRD.

RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 4, 2016
Hazed gold pour, slight orange tint, medium fluffy white head. Fruity and grassy aroma. Some spice, coriander comes through in the taste. Fairly effervescent body.

Nice and cloudy, soft lacing in the glass with deep herbal citrus aromas. Soft spiciness on the palate. An enjoyable interpretation of a Belgian classic.
