I was motivates to make an insanely hopper up IPA. The idea again, like in my brews so farm was to make the beer sessionable, whilst giving maximum flavour! It cones in at 55 IBU and has a ridiculous amount of Columbus, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic in there.

330 ml bottle. Somewhat hazy orange body capped by a tightly packed white head. Aromas of pineapple, orange zest, mango, pine and grass. Really juicy mouth feel. Taste is lots of tropical fruit up front, followed by a firm pine resin and pepper bitterness. Gently bitter finish leads into a fruity aftertaste. Good stuff.

From a can. Not as insane as I’d expected, pretty standard example that is very drinkable.

Bottle - malt dominant from go to whoa - too malty for me - a bit cloying and thick on the tongue - yes, I get the hops but they’re swamped by the malt - not the vibrancy I seek.

CurlyJoe (461) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 22, 2017
Classic aggressive, arrogant American IPA. Lots of bitter hops, not a whole lot of fruit or pine. Dry and lingering on the palate.

varanid99 (1443) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 23, 2017
Orange-gold pour with a tight off-white head. Big tropical fruit aroma; passionfruit, pine and caramel. Sweetish, pine, passionfruit, with long bitter finish. Good one.
