One of the stand outs at the Kyoto Craft Beer Fest. On tap. It poured a nice cloudy color with a light white head. It was slightly sweet, spicy and had a hint of funk. I really enjoyed it, very drinkable. I’ll definitely drink it again.

This is pretty much a white PA. A belgian wheat, light, refreshing and very ’fresh’ tasting. Then drenched in NS. Really easy drinking, but there is enough body to counter point the fruity, cat piss hops. Delightful.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2013 tasted like white grape juice, on top of hay, a flowers. Light refreshing and hoppy. Nothing tradtional, but very enjoyable. Re-rate blending ratings. very light sav blanc nose. Light, almost creamy mouth, very smooth with a touch of wheat. Light med hopped. Very rounded. Lingering nel Sauvin finish. Wonderful . Never tries to go too hard with too much hops.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 2013 version, draught. They changed the name this year. Even better hops, spicer yeast, great flavors. Draught at the Kyoto craft Beer Festival, 2012. Cloudy yellow. Great hops in a clean Belgian wit. Grassy, nice citrus, no artificial spiciness. Crisp and very dinrkable, perfect for a hot summer day.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2013 Update: Draught at the Craft Beer Fest Kyoto 5/11/2013: Great fruity aroma, citrusy, wheaty, and cat pissy. Cloudy light straw color, thin head. Great bitter grapefruit, grass, and hop flavors keep opening up throughout initial, mid palate, and final. Finish has gentle maltiness and then covers the tongue in hops. Such refreshing stuff. Finish is maybe a touch too sweet for a saison. This was the best beer of the day. ******************************************** tap at the Craft Beer Festa Kyoto 2012. Stinky, barn floor aromas, wheaty notes as well. Cloudy as can be. Packs a lemony and grapefruit punch, with a sharply bitter aftertaste. The wheat and Nelson Sauvin hops complement each other well. Very fresh tasting, and refreshing, too. Good beer (Rated 5/14/2912: 7/3/7/4/14)
