Botella. Hazy golden colour with a rather small bubbly white head. Sweet aroma indeed, toasty malt and caramel, some fruit, more sweetness. Good mouthfeel. Aroma has sweet apricot tones and yeast. Flavour has yeast, apricot, alcohol and grassy hops. Boozy tones start to disturb a bit after some sips.

Pours hazy golden color with a samall head. Quite odd aroma here, some ripe fruits, fresh fruits also, some pungent alcohol-infused malts also. Sweet caramel malts on the flavor, orange, mild yeast and herbs. Interesting.

Aroma: Dusty wheat, mild mikan and pear, yeast
Palate: Full-bodied. almost viscous, smooth mouth feel
Flavor: Wheat, pear, guava, from start with addition of ripe mikan in the middle, finishing with bitter grain.
Comment: Outstanding as the mouth feel and flavors evolved and it had long fruity, moderately bitter finish. 4.1
Aroma: Floral, dusty wheat, pear, malt, neutral/Chard-like tropical fruit, light caramel
Flavor: Wheat, mandarin orange, pear, tropical fruit, moderate bittering with lemon peel.
Comment: This opened up like a full-bodied wine might. Worried that I had overrated it yesterday, but actually its even better with an aroma of 8 and an overall of 18 IMO. So, 42-43 points now.

Aroma: Wheat, light mikan, pear, not very aromatic.
Palate: Body has depth.
Flavor: Wheat, moderately sweet pear, grain, mikan
Comment: Moderately complex mix of fruit, wheat and grain flavors. Like a barley wine with lighter body and hop. Balanced, good sustained flavor though it verges on being mild at this point. 3-6-4+-8-16 = 37+. Bottle age does seem to improve this one. jinroh (2451) - ESTONIA - MAR 28, 2014
330 ml from Tanakaya @ Mejiro. Pours hazy golden with a thin head. Has a thick and deep wheat aroma, a small hint of alcohol. Bananas, melon and bread dough. Taste is quite sweet that is balanced by spices and alcohol bitterness. Quite warming brew that leaves you with a dry tongue and a long lingering slightly bitter aftertaste. Good stuff.
