A dark nutbrown beer with no head. the aroma is sweet and acidic. The flavor is smoked, sweet, watery with a bitterness lingering only on the front of the tongue - but having a fine aftertaste. cgarvieuk (24536) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 5, 2007
a Brown colored ale,Heavy malt nose, nice rounded fruit malt that just a tad fizzy. harrisoni (18579) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2006
500ml bottle from Tesco. Reddish/brown colour with beige head. Dry malt aroma. Juicy malt in mouth with some red burnt fruit. Shame its got a bit of deadness due to pasteurisation. But malt is good. Tasted to me a bit like Batemans XXXB. leaparsons (10554) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2006
Bottle. Dark amber/copper with a large off-white foam. Aromas are roast and chocolate malts with mollasses and earthy, spicy hops. Some sweet toffee and caramel. Flavours are chocolate and caramel malts with some roast character. Some nutty notes with liquorice. Dry towards the finish. Pretty good. Bottled (Can’t remember where i picked it up from) Ruby in colour as it says with nice fruity malty flavours enveloping your tastebuds, some roasted notes and a nice finish. Very good.

Bottled. A dark brown coloured beer with a ruby hue. The aroma is dry, smoky, fruity and malty. The taste is dry and smoky. Roasty and toasty. Bready and decent. SilkTork (5738) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2002
Smooth, roasty, fruity. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Very refreshing. Nuff said. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2006
Aroma starts lightly sweet roasted vanilla, slightly treackle also. Taste is chocolate roasted malt, treackle again, a bit sweetish but balanced. johndoughty (5454) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2006
Didn’t know what to expect with this one as its presumably named after the Duff brewey on the Simpsons. If Homer likes it then so should I. Lovely dark brown appearance with no carbonation. Slightly dry and almost stout like. An excellent surprise. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2006
Dark brown with a frothy beige head. Malt aroma. Delicious sweet caramel taste reminiscent of toffee apples, and refreshing dry finish. Good beer.
