Duff is a ruby colored smooth strong ale. It is a nicely balanced beer with rich fruity,and malt/roast malt flavors blending smoothly together(5.0 ABV). The beer is dark in color to reflect the Gaelic meaning of dark or black.

Nice lookin dark beer, thickinsh head leaving lines down the glass as I sup. Nose & palate both disappoint, not much to either. The finish has an almost tannic dryness which is a bit much.
