Pours a dark brown color with a decent head of foam as you take in the scents of malts with a hint of chocolate. It drinks much like a stout as it has that thicker and heavier taste to it. Nicely made and finishes rather smoothly. Something to try if you like heavier beers.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown. Reddish tinges down the side of the glass. Small tan coloured head. Great nose of rich malts, dark fruits and a little alcohol. Really good. Flavours unfortunately dont quite hold up to the nose. Sweet with light bitter finish. Thinnish mouthfeel. ManVsBeer (10250) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2012
A hoppy ale in aroma and to an extent in character but negated by its strength.
