Bottle, nice dark beer, you can definetly smell the fruit and sweetness of this beer. it is a little bit bitter for me, not like hop bitter but something else, not quit sure. Overall pretty good, but it is not as smooth as i would like.

Bottled. Redbrown with white head. Fresh aroma of toast, iron and green apples. Sweet roasted flavor with little bitterness.

Bottle, 5.3%. Slightly spicy aroma, some sewer. Clear dark chestnut colour. Acidic flavour, but nicely malty. Roasted aftertaste.

Wrongly guessed that this would be a belgian triple when I ordered it by name only. I was surprised but not unhappy with the beer. It is not really strong or "powerful". It is an easy drinking beer that doesn’t offend, smoothly delivering a decent, maybe overly sweet, malt character balanced reasonably by hop bitterness.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2007
Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a brown color with ruby highlights and a small khaki head that faded quickly. The aroma was light sour malts and fruity hops. The flavor was malty, vaguely sour and tangy with a light caramel element. The mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery.

Malty aroma, roasted. Pours dark brown. Very smooth malt flavor, hops aren’t very noticable. Not bad, not great.

its got the decent flavors of dark malts and caramel.no bitter flavors are in this beer due the fact that this a after dinner drink or an winter warmer. slightly nutty too

500 ml bottle. Tanned bubbely one-finger head over a clear nut brown body. Not very aromatic for an ale; dry dark malts, cocoa powder and dusty hops. Hints of dried dark fruits and coffee. Taste is clean and dry, caramellish malts with some fruity tones. Surprisingly light-bodied with a rather watered down mouthfeel. Crisp, metallic finish. Goes well down, but lacks character.

Bottle; Clear deep red colour, with a nice head. Aroma of öost of sweet malts, caramel, choclate,a d some butter and metalic nose in the end. Flavor is cramel, and some choclate nots, reminds me of a typical dark lager, not an Ale(is this Ale?) Thin body and a short caramelly finish.
