dogbomb (1257) - ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2014
Bottle. Poured a rich reddish brown with a thinnish light tan head. Nose is chestnuts and toffee. Taste is nice roasted nuts, with more caramellic notes. Perhaps a touch of tropical fruit in there. Very full mouthfeel, really filling the mouth with warmth and flavour. A decent pint this!

- Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2010
Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Decent biscuity mid brown bitter. Fine, if nothing to make me want a second pint of it.

sm89walt (2082) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 1, 2010
Cask - West Gate Inn (JDW), Canterbury. Poured dark amber with a loose & frothy, one finger white head. Nutty malt & currant aromas. A caramel sweetness up front, some biscuit in the middle and a dry, short hop bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body with low carbonation. Light and fruity and a fair thirst quencher.
