On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Cask handpull at The Waterloo Southampton. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate aroma roasted malt. Quite a decent dry Irish stout. Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Almost black with a frothy head. Light roasted aroma and crisp in the mouth, the dryness in in the roasted flavou which is not very stated. .

Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton. Jet black, creamy and lasting pale beige and gentle condition. Muted sweet liquorice, a touch of creamy coffee and some roast barley in the nose, initial roasted notes in the mouth with a little burnt toast and some pleasant bittersweet coffee ground, slightly sweet in the finish with some gentle coffee developing into a roasted bitterness lingering at the end
