bottle. pale golden with small head. sweet lemonade and a light lagery kick. as euro-shandy's go, pretty darn good -- though that's not a high bar. wouldn't have guessed it was gluten free. superspak (6371) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - SEP 9, 2017
330 ml bottle into pint glass, best before 2/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden/yellow color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of lemonade, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/citrus peel bitterness and lemon tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of lemonade, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and lightly acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.2%. Overall this is a delicious shandy style. All around nice robustness and balance of lemonade, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/bitter finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV, with great balance of pale lager and lemonade. A very enjoyable offering. voyageurmike (523) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2017
Bottle from Wegman's. Dark cloudy lemonade colored. Lemon and ginger taste, more soda than beer.
