MicroGrog (454) - FT: Stale Polotmavý in Queens, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Bottle from New Beer Distributors.

Tulip pour. Rich, clear, spritz, dark golden brew. Looks great.

Smells of sweet Peary, browned apples and wood.

Taste is more browned apples, but with a very pleasant skin dryness that invites the next sip. Faintly acidic, like a dab of citric acid. Sweet like pink lady apples. Light florals & a touch of pleasant musk.

Solid quaffer. A decent introduction to better ciders.

Unusually dark orange pour. Round, sweet aroma of canned peaches and applesauce. Flavor is reminiscent of canned fruit. There’s an acidic bite and something that reminds me of artificial or preserved fruit. I don’t know if DMS is a possible result in cider, but that’s what comes to mind. Medium sweetness. A cut above the macro ciders, but not something I’m likely to buy again with so many better choices.

Tmoney99 (15032) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good legs. Medium floral apple aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft legs. Medium sweet apple flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beverage.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head that disappeared into a ring. The aroma and flavor has sweet apples with a hint of funky cheese, finish has a champagne character, not my thing.

OnTheTrail (593) - Virginia, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Pours orange gold with large head. Aroma is subtly aplle. Taste is rich apple, like Apple sauce, moderarely sweet. Medium to thick mouthfeel.

mansquito (6971) - Nueva York, New York, USA - OCT 30, 2016
Trader Joe’s, Queens: pours gold with a dissipating white head. Aroma is apples and wood and such. Taste is somewhere between dry and sweet. Lingering sweet aftertaste.

scarletfire65 (1513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2016
Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Deep golden color with a small ring of head. Sweet apple nose. The body is medium, the palate is bone dry with moderate apple skin tannins. The flavor is tart apple, aged, dusty, mineral, and a bit of funk. Very nice.

Bottle at Muckfest VI. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Sweet nose with apple and stone fruit notes. Sweet apple flavor with a semi-dry finish.

slowrunner77 (12972) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 10, 2016
Still champagne like and dry, but a little crisper and more satisfying flavor and aroma wise than the lesser Dan Armor. I’d get again - cheap for the size at Trader Joe’s.

rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 15, 2016
bottle from Trader Joes. Golden with two finger head. Very champagne-like, especially with the carbonation. Tart green apple, but balanced by moderate sweetness. Aboverage for a cheap cider.
