Bottled. A nut-brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has light acidic notes mixing in with notes of nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and lighter notes of nuts, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks omhper for sharing.

Bottle. Thanks to DSG. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty caramel and chocolate aroma. Sweet malty caramel flavor with some hints of chocolate. Has a dry malty slightly bitter caramel finish.

Opaque dark brown with medium tan head, great aroma of nicely roasted malts, chocolate caramel and vanilla, some citrus clove notes, flavors of caramel chocolate raisins some bread and some citrus, hoppy alcoholic finish. Nicely balanced.

33cl handbottle, with thanks to AgentSteve for the super cool bonus! I get to be the first US rating, which is pretty neat. Pours a hazy caramel brown with a nice creamy one finger off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, nuts, bread, and caramel. Flavor is more nuts, light bread/dough, light caramel and a hint of chocolate. A decent brown ale, thanks again for the chance to try this Steve!

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - FEB 21, 2009

Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is hops, some wood and mild bready notes. Flavour is raisins, fruits and some sweet bready notes along with mildly toasted notes. Mild salty and earthy notes too.

omhper (25563) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 23, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Bottled, thanks DSG! Clear chocolate brown, brief head. Chocolatey nose with some paper. Light-medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Straightforward, carefully roastiness. Light salty finish. Correct, but not the beer with the most character.

KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2008
Cloudy brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and chocolate notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet finish.
