Legend has it that 1,000 years ago, the Jews of Prague were saved from a marauding mob by a monster created in the private study of the great rabbi of the city. So big, so horrific, when spotted by the approaching peasants they turned on their heels and ran. When the threat had diminished, the Golem of Prague was escorted back to the Rabbi’s study where it is said he continues to stand watch to this very day. What was the secret that turned this mountain of clay into the fearsome, living and breathing Golem? Whatever it was, it must have been REALLY, REALLY BIG. The GOLEM – Each keg a different monster. First batch at 9.5%, as of 2013 at 12%.

Iced version of Dancing Camel India Pale Ale.

Mortlach (2510) - Rome, ITALY - NOV 1, 2013
01/11/2013 750ml bottle (thanks Ariel!) shared @ La Tana. Ambrata carica, limpida, schiuma bianco-sporca media, molto persistente. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Mediocre.

The best imperial beer i’ve tasted. Sweet enough , bitter enough with taste of malt, sweet summer fruits and some port wine.

VirtualPub (3) - Herut, ISRAEL - SEP 3, 2013 does not count
Histerical monsterues flavors. Peeches, plums and choclate. Red wine aroma and smooth finish

gyllenbock (9852) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 25, 2013
Bottle bought at the Brewpub in July 2013. (12% alcohol) A bit hazy dark orange with a white head. Quite a lot of perfume and candy in this one. Not as hoppy and fruity as expected. The cabonation was soft and the body was medium. Drinkable but nothing special.
