Draft on tap at the brewery (Minneapolis, MN). Pours a darker glowing orange gold hue. A subtle haziness but not enough to make much of a dent on that richer fall glow, a darker appeal with frothy offwhite head atop. A decent layer comes on, dies to a ringer and laces nice enough. Aromas show a bit of Belgian yeasty spice, crisp bready malts, fruit and a bit of sweetness. Gentle spice, apple and subtle pineapple meet mellow pear, earthy bitter hops. Initial is dry, yeasty but lighter bodied overall. Some fruity appeal mixes in to counter that, subtle bitterness on the backend, an earthy and slightly fruity hop appeal as the estery fruit in the middle never gets overbearing. Honestly, I think the bitterness and spice flow pretty well. You can see why this probably sells well and they keep making it. On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light copper with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy floral and grain with a bit of Belgian yeast underlying. Slightly hazed dandelion pour. Clean, fresh baked white bread aroma. Mild, low grade funk and lot of ripe creamy banana. Gentle acidity and coriander-like pungency combine for a pretty classic effect. It is already apparent however how texturally lacking this will be.

Soft, white bread, lemon oil flavor. Thoroughly watery and papery throughout. Sometimes pungent in affect but always loose and meandering mid palate. There are shades of westy blonde and other benchmark examples, but they are never fully colored.
The primary culprit of this shortcoming is the under carbonated, generally limp and wet palate. The finish is brief, offering more papery blandness and lemon. While never unpleasant to drink and directionally focused, this example just never finds its footing.
Tap at taproom. Aroma is subtle. But flavor is solid for a lighter beer. A bit of the sweet Belgium yeast flavor, but still a tame beer. Easy to drink. Pleasant surprise. falco242 (398) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 16, 2014
On draft at Dangerous. For a 4.3% beer, this has a lot of taste. Nice bread, banana and clove flavor, a bit bitter on the finish but a real solid session.

On tap at Dangerous Man. Has a very pale golden color with minimal head. Has some banana and clove scents, similar in taste with a fizzy mouth feel.
