hotstuff (5281) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Rated on 6-29-2015 (Bottle) The appearance of this mead is a clear amber body. The aroma is earthy, sweet, honey, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet tasting, earthy, honey, and alcohol. The mouthfeel has a warming sensation and this mead is medium bodied. This is definitely a sipping mead that I would drink again.

This bottled Mead from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized clear colored bubbles that were very quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent dark orange colored body and a oily lacing. The mild aroma was vinous mild fruit and honey. The vinous mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong vinous aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of vinous honey and fruity. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

From tap at Taphouse. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Arona and flavour of alcohol, fruit, herbs and honey.

Tap at Bull and Bush. Clear brilliant golden with no head. Nice sticky nose with caramel covered Apple and sugary slightly-citric honey. Smooth yet full body with a nice hidden booze note that’s quiet until the lingering finish. Lovely honey sweetness and a little citrus tones with a pleasant caramel apple flavor and a touch of cinnamon and maybe clove. Really nice.

Mead tasting at Taphouse. Ceramic bottle. No head. Cloudy dark brown body. A sweet honey porse aroma. Well balanced alcohol dominated honey flavor with acidic apples, dusty porse and a long finish.

j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Bottle at James’ house for the End of History tasting. Pours a clear gold. Spicy sweet honey, floral. Medium bodied, sweet honey, light floral notes with a bit of spice. Lingering warm alcohol over floral honey on the finish.

EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 27, 2014
This mead pours a very clear light golden color with no head, and its aroma is heavy on the alcohol and light on the honey. The taste is very sweet and a bit boozy on the front end, but the alcohol flavor comes out more in the aftertaste. The palate fuses an oily texture, medium-light body, and a flat carbonation.

VsXsV (4572) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle. Almost clear golden liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of honey, booze, wood, fermented apples, spices and vanilla. Quite boozy. Taste is medium to high sweet with notes of honey, booze, apples and vanilla. Full bodied with sticky mouthfeel. Boozy and a bit unrefined.

Jesterdeal (1986) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 17, 2014
Sampled at the End of History tasting. Aroma of red apple peel, honey and light floral. Pours amber with very light carbonation to borderline flat. Taste is apple core, honey, floral, and light beeswax. Sticky sweet. Dependably hearty from Dasnk.

obguthr (6832) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2014
Hot vodka nose, only hints of honey. Clear amber, legs. Very sweet honey, very hot. Some walnut notes appear as it breathes. Some pear on the back end. Medium body, smooth. Cloying and alcohol presence is ridiculous.
