Bottle, 75cl ceramic. A quite dark golden color mead, oily pour, and still. The aroma has some herbal notes, but its mostly rather flowery honey. Alcohol too, but not very pushing. Its quite warming on the palate, oily and full-bodied. Not very sweet, but far from dry, with a pleasant flowery honey flavor, and also some herbal notes. Warming, honey-tasting finish. Considering the ABV, its quite pleasant, but its also a bit low on aroma and flavor levels. Nice though. 120624

Bottle, bought @ Bryghuset, Billund.
Pale golden with a minimum of haze. No head. Aroma has lemon, clear red apple, sticky sweetness, light alcohol. Flat ans oily mouthfeel. Flavour is fairly sharp alcohol, very warming. Sweet honey but with a mild apple tartness that balances the sweetness a little. A little cough syrup to it as well.
