700ml bottle @ the office. Pours a clear golden colour with no head. Nose is fermented honey with some herbalness. Flavour is quite sweet and cloying, with a semi bitter herbal finishing character that lingers on the palate.

Light tan, with just a touch of haze. No head. Sweet, sticky honeyish note. Not much complexity, though it is pretty ridiculous.

mcberko (19886) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 6, 2017
700mL bottle, pours a clear a clear blonde with no head. Aroma is loaded with herbs, with heather, pine needles and subdued honey. Flavour is very cloying, with lots of herbal notes, especially heather and pine needles, and intense syrupy cloying sweetness. Herbal and sickly sweet. Anything but a complex, elegant mead, but it's pleasant.

Sweet aroma and flavor, not as hot as the Klapojster, but still hot. Nice sipper though. Honey, eaerth, and a bit of melon - unless I’m imagining that :)

drpimento (3815) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Aroma is a little like oaked sherry. Flavor is very sweet, with some apple, hop bitter, walnuts, and spice. A dessert product that’s not especially appealing to me.

3.3
odinstyr (807) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2015
Pours a medium amber with no head or carbonation. Smells of honey, apple, alcohol. Taste is sweet, mildly bitter - honey, apple, flowery hops.
