Bottle thanks to my beloved brother, ericandersnavy. Pours a nice gold and has nice legs dripping down the glass. Aroma of pure honey with a well blended strong alcohol spice. Flavor of strong honey and alcohol, a bit medicinal, very spicy! Mouth feel is heavy body and very smooth! Overall, packs a punch! Damned good stuff and very warming!

Bottle thanks to eric. Thick deep golden body and strong legs. Aroma is minty with hibiscus, eucalyptus, alcohol and various german schnapps. Taste is alcohol, earthy, herbal, hibiscus and tobacco. Big. Despite liking this, I think I had a bit of an allergic reaction to it as some of my fellow tasters noticed my face go from normal colored to a bright red with in 30 seconds of the first sip. Maybe I have a problem with hibiscus.

sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JAN 26, 2010

Good lord, this is beautiful- a golden organge reddish blood color. The arom is also great- lots of honey, of course, but also tropical flowers. The flavor is great- really fills your mouth but is still smooth. Not as heavy as the Royal Empire Mead, and much easier to drink. I really loved this. Bottle from Knightly Spirits, Orlando.

dwyerpg (6375) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Absolutely wonderful mead. Sweet and strong, it’s dominated by the honey. The only knock really is that perhaps it seems just a tad bit too alcoholic, but mostly this is great stuff. A bit expensive as well.

mastabass666 (277) - California, USA - DEC 27, 2009

marcus (10575) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 21, 2009
Shared by bhensonb. Pours clear honey with no head and a honey and alcohol aroma. This is all about honey, with a warm alcohol trail. The hibiscus adds a floral feeling. It’s delicious.

bhensonb (15618) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 21, 2009
Pours orange copper with no head. Strong aroma of flowr/herb over honey. A bit of heat. First flavor is floral - so that’s hibiscus. Very strong hp bitter. Well balanced. Lots of flavor.
