Pours gold with a dense white head. There is a subtle citrus aroma with orange, floral, grass, and malt notes, but not as strong as I would expect in a West Coast IPA. Moderately hoppy with citrus, malt, pine, and resinous flavors. The mouthfeel is smooth with a light to medium body, but a bit under carbonated. Not a bad beer but definitely needs more carbonation and a bigger hop punch.

Appearance: dull brass. Hazy. Thin layer of tiny white bubbles. Nose: Pine and floral hops. Caramel sweetness. Touch of citrus. Taste: sort of a dusty pine bitter with some caramel and sweet malt. Bitter throughout. Resinous finish Body: Medium and fluid. Parting thoughts: a decent, above average, if not impressive IPA. Very drinkable.

Pretty beer, prototype look. Standard wc IPA, but maybe a touch on the butter side. Like it more than average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

crowler and sample at brewery Pours bright light orange hue with a small soapy white head and lots of ghosts lacing. Bright citric flavors but sort of non descript and run-of-the-mill ipa like. long finish with some sweet hops and some dry malt husks. Run of the mill but not bad, just sort of there.

Chalumeaux (1841) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - APR 13, 2017
Poured from can dated 12/23/16 nice golden orange color with a white head. Aromas of caramel floral notes citrus and pine. Taste follows with a lingering bitterness. Was probably better fresh.

Strykzone (7797) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2017
Sampled at Lupulin. Some white haze in this golden berr. Earthy and fruity. Pine, and sugary malts. Nice balance here. Melons and just all kinds of fruit. This is good stuff. Well brewed.

geeklimit (294) - USA - MAR 11, 2017
Light pine aroma. Clouded wheat amber with wispy head that sticks to the glass. Strong pine flavor with citrus middle. Slightly soapy taste. Clean palette with citrus middle. Clean mouth feel with hops resin aftertaste.

rxeight (3319) - Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2017
Crowler canned Tuesday. Lots of bitterness, some pine and floral. Hop resin on the finish. Body a bit flat and watery.

Very nice ipa. Solid from beginning to end. Good enough for a hop head but balanced enough to drink a few. Would get again.
