Hazy orange with white head. Banana and bread. Full, sweet and floral finish. Not bad!

colour is golden with a large white head. smell is harsh, slightly metallic wheat. taste is astringent and like a mechanical mishmash. re: taste, here in korea the german discount breweries dump a lot of their shit in assorted re-labelings, all the weisses taste like this. palate is heavy but not in a good way. this is the cheapest tallboy i could find, but this same low quality company makes a dunkelweiss that tastes marginally better. yuck, but im getting drunk

Boks 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Gyldengul. Tett kritthvitt skum som daler veldig sakte. Uklar. Klassisk banan / sitrusaroma. Smaken lett syrlig. Som aromaen. Et standard hveteøl.

Aroma; bun dough, coriander, cinnamon, yeast, modest malts, fresh meadow grass. Look; hazy golden yellow body, frothy dense off white head. Taste; sweet malts, coriander, clove, raisin, dough, flour, grass - leading to a sweet finish. Feel; sweet floury, low carbonation. Overall; among weizens a very doughy-corianderish one. Light hazy orange color. Lots of carbonation. Light roasted aroma, baked bread, touch of banana, but overall, not that yeasty in the aroma. Quite sweet, but with a bit too much hops, a bit watery, and has an unpleasant aftertaste. Is overall pleasant, but lacks the complexity of better brands.

500ml can in Norway. Aroma is very light algae, light citrus, very lght yeast. Appearance is light cloudy yellow with a light white foam. Taste is slightly sour and very light bitter. Watery. Drinkable.

500ml can picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A snow white head with fine retention over a golden body with moderate wheat haze. Poor lacing. Banana esters on the nose joined by a spicy touch. Taste of clove and ripe banana on a backbone of wheat. Mid-sweet ending. Okay paring with our tuna salad (at home in Tromsø, 19.08.2016).

Can at home. The colour is hazy yellow-orange with a creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma of banana, yeast, spices, wheat and grass. Has a light flavour of grass and lots of wheat. There’s still a good dose of Belgian yeast in the background. Has a slick mouth feel and light body and bitterness. A light, sweet and balanced hefeweizen.

0.5l can. Looks really nice with a cloudy really orange, near glowing body and a tall fluffy and hefty lacing white head. Smells like it should for sure. Lots of banana and clovey yeast. Sweetness for sure, bubblegum and wheat. Have to say that this smells really good. Tastes a little boring almost, at least compared to that aroma. Dryish, not too much sweetness at all, but banana is definitely here. Almost a little cardboard dry, minerallic.. It has a thin oily texture in the mouth and it’s about average on the small bubbled carbonation. Easy enough, good smelling but fell a bit through in the taste. 02.07.2016
