Bottle... Pours dark brown (nearly black) with a small, brief head. Aromatic highlights include deep, rich notes of molasses, maple and fudge. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. The flavor features roasty-bittersweet chocolate, light molasses and bourbon. Hearty, boozy, soul-warming finish. Very nice. Thanks to newcigarz for providing the bottle! jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 15, 2014

355ml bottle. Brown pour, heavy sweetness, maple flavor a bit, wa too sweet. Frank (4225) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 22, 2014
This is cloudy brown with a brown head of fine bubbles. It’ls sweet with lots of maple and almost tastes barreel aged with tons of vanilla. It is also a touch hot and very heavy on the palate for a beer of relatively moderate gravity. This would be a lot better were it a bit lighter. alexsdad06 (10672) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Draft at Big Beers and barley wines. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, maple syrup, some chocolate with a hint of earth to the finish. I thought this might be bigger. Decent enough.
