Dark brown pour with a one finger, creamy tan head. Aroma is allspice heavy pie spice, cooked apple, toasty cinnamon, dark caramel, crusty bread, nutty notes and earthy hops. Flavor is cinnamon, allspice, roast, chocolate, cooked apple and plum, potpourri floral notes, nutty, woody and pine notes. Medium body, slightly syrupy feel, heavy and sharp carbonation. Pretty good overall, but way over carbonated. jsporrer (1086) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 23, 2016
Poured from a bottle. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan ring. Looks like Coke. Sweet winter spice aroma with some dark fruits. Fairly smooth with hints of figs, nutmeg, & cinnamon. Flavor isn’t too bold and doesn’t linger very long. Has a warm dry finish with emphasis on the cinnamon. OK but not great. screigh (756) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Pours almost black. Large Brown head with some lacing. Spicy aroma. Spicy flavor. A bit of dark chocolate bitterness. jmohno (1652) - Iowa, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Dark with slight red hue. Light head. Aroma is brown sugar caramel, and light spices. Slight chocolate maybe a slight/faint roast. Taste is smooth with some mild malty smoothness and some blended dark malts, dark fruits, and dark chocolate character. Spices are somewhat subdued, which I like, and this seems on the lines of a porter/ strong ale almost as well. Luvystypotables (2039) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Aroma of all spice and gingerbread pours a dark brown color without a head. Taste like gingerbread cookies with a hint of rum. Watery feel with a mild rum finish.

Pours deep brown with a single finger off-white head. The aroma is spicy and molasses-ridden at the same time, Sweet Moravian cookie-like taste with some winter spices mixed in. Robust and thick, it stops just short of cloying. Wallaby501 (72) - - DEC 28, 2015
This gets really high marks but I’m not sure why. Opposite some reviewers I found that the cinnamon and other spices overpower the beer itself and leave me thinking I drank a beer that was just heavily spiced with cinnamon. It is an interesting beer but honestly a little more restraint on the adjuncts would help in my opinion. Hiledd (130) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Imperial stout, dark brown / black color, cherry, chocolate, coffee flavor, light brown foam that dissipates quickly, warm alcohol finish

Bottle. Dark brown pour with an eggshell head. Big spices on the nose but glad they don’t over power the taste. Cinnamon, and general spices with some light roastiness. Solid brew. Cousin_Larry (895) - - DEC 26, 2015
Finally a Christmas beer that got it right. Good for what it is - a sweet beer that kind of tastes like a ginger snap.
