12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Appearance is dark brown, almost black, with a slight ruby tint. The head is dark tan and paper-thin. Aroma is holiday spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc. There is also a light cocoa scent and a very faint roasted malt smell. Absolutely lovely. And it begins to spread through the room as it warms. The taste is a weaker version of the taste. It’s very good, but it simply tastes a bit more watery than I had expected. A very easy drink, especially due to a complete lack of alcohol taste. The mouth is also a bit thinner than expected. Overall, this is one of my absolute favorite beers.

[Copenhagen 2017] Sampled draft @ Taphouse. Dark brown amber. Nose is herbal liquorice, syrup, liquorice. Taste is thick pleasant BE spices, plastic, thick liquorice, thick bodied. Way more BE & spiced than expected but a nice one for sure within the style.

Pours a dark chestnut color with a 2 finger head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is candied fruit and nutmeg. Taste is initially cinnamon with fruit and hoppy finish. A solid winter warmer that would fit in nicely at any Christmas party.

Dark brown color with a light brown head that disappears quickly. Slight aroma of spice. Minty taste with a watery palate.

smells like a holiday beer with all the xmas appropriate spices. The flavor and body is magnanimous. aged dark cherry so full and smooth yet not very syrup like. finish beery but with some wheat juice i wasn't surprised at all that the body and flavor on this one would be great. hardly any representation of the aroma in the taste Thank God. some rich malt character makes one think of dark malt, licorice and cocoa.

Aus der Flasche 2016-12 getrunken. Dieses mit u.a. mit Muskat, Nelken und Piment gebrauhte Winterbier schmeckt und duftet wie flüssige Dominosteine. Dazu ist es super süffig! Geiles Zeug!

For such a high alcohol content the weight is surprisingly light. Review at: https://youtu.be/kst4hj1lSec?list=PL2I6nU36z3

Color is deep, opaque red-brown, nearly black in the thick spots. No head or lace, really. Aroma is cola and cocoa. CInnamon and spices. Gets more "burnt" as it warms up a bit. Even a little musty, but that might be age. (It’s mid-March and I’m drinking an elf-themed beer.) The flavor is more cola, cinnamon, sugary caramel, molasses. Some ashtray. The feelis thick and chewy, but very smooth. This is a very pleasant beer, and at 8.75% it don’t treat you gentle.
