12 oz bottle. Pours a fully hazed light amber with an off-white head. Citrus hop aroma with floral pine. Citrus hop flavor again mixing in florals and pines, and a little bit of toasty caramel biscuit. This version makes a pretty good beer but is still a bit simple (which I suppose is unavoidable). Hazy, brownish-orange pour with an off-white head. The aroma has a fresh, clean quality with citrus notes. It has a light body with somewhat watery texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet and refreshing with a quick finish. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Sampler pour on tap at Haymarket Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Still hadn’t rated this.. So let’s do it. Pours a deeper amber orange hue, with some decent haziness. Frothy whitish head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas offer citrus and tropical fruit, some bready malt, decent Citra presence isn’t as pronounced as you’d like but still quite pleasant. A bit of sweetness, fruit, bread. Some mellow florals. A bit fruity, sweet. Some bready malts, a more pronounced bitter and sustained hop presence in the backend. Solid, a bit muddled overall. The hops don’t quite express enough. The backend brings it back, bitter and fairly dry. Solid albeit not a head of the class type IPA with these more savvy or trendy hops. radagast83 (8476) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Split a 12oz bottle with mcart034 a week or so ago. Poured a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma was pine notes with some grassy characters to it. Grapefruits and malt caramel character. Pretty enjoyable. OldGrowth (3665) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - JUN 18, 2013

This one poured a light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of caramel malt and lighter grain, and citra fruity hops, but nothing in your face like it should be. Flavor was similar, citra and malt, moderately bitter. Average IPA. hopheadsbrew (143) - Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Golden and cloudy. Fluffy head. Very citrusy grapefruit nose. Bready and clean flavor. Good crisp citrus with nice bitter finish. jdskinns (220) - South Roxana, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2013
On tap. Pours a hazy orange color with soapy white head. Aroma is floral hops and sweet. Nice floral hops and bitterness with a good amount of malt coming through to back it up. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Citra is one of my favorite hops so this one was better than the FF. the aroma was still weak but the taste was still balanced.

On tap at Milltown. Loads better than the base, to me, and happy to hear this is going to be in bottles. Attractive pale orange pour with an elegant, substantive head. The nose is really nice, accentuating the floral qualities of Citra rather than the raw bitters that I often feel take over. Flavors are even better, as the substantial malts that are usually in Crooked Tree meld really nicely with the bracing hop, producing notes of citrus zest, rye, and tropical fruits. Flavorful, well balanced, really nicely done.
