12oz Bottle. Thanks Sean! Light fruity aroma. Flavors display citra nicely, with a hit of pineapple and some juicy hop resin. Clean, well supported with what I think is a very fine base malt structure, and a nice balance of bitterness. I thought that the aroma could have shown off more of the pungent, papaya-esque bombastic qualities of Citra, but it was still solid. fattybladdy (830) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 13, 2013
12oz bottle, pours a hazy orange with white head. Scent is citrus, fruit, and earthy. Taste is more earthy bitterness than the original, also less malt. Good, but I’d take the original. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark orange/copper with a white head, poor retention/some lace. Aroma of earth, citrus hops, orange peel, caramel/light toast malt. Taste is bitter, floral/citrus hop, caramel, earth. Palate is soft, a bit oily, bitter finish. Not quite as good as 3F ZD. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma has mild orange and stonefruit...subdued and muddled. Flavor has peach and tea...earthy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and syrupy with a dry earthy bitter finish that is muddled with light graininess. portableparty (2398) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2013
12 oz. bottle from the mixed 12 pack. Pours hazy amber with a pillow off white foamy head that settles to a foamy film and coating lacing. Aroma is malt grapefruit and earthy pine. Taste is bitter fresh pine and grapefruit with some pineapple and balanced with malt which has some hidden caramel notes. Palate is medium a little gritty and chalky with a dry finish. Best one out of the four.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a mediumish white head. Nose light and slightly hoppy with just a hint of citrus coming through. Taste is nicely bitter and clean with an easy finish. Nice and smooth. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 10, 2013
12oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirit. Pours a deep, clear amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, pineapple, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, meaty, caramel, hoppy, pine, citrus, orange, with a light bitter finish. Nice. Better than the FF version. bwa5879 (962) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Medium tan cloudy brown pour with thin layer of white mist. Not too strong scent. Aroma of floral hops and complex aromatic herbs: rosemary, thyme, oregano? Average to low carbonation, tingly/effervescent/numbing mouthfeel with slightly dry finish. Lots of grapefruit hops with pale malt lending a saltiness. Not too brutal but very refreshing and also minty. Pretty smooth, easy drinking IPA. Good variation on the already unique crooked tree. MattShizzle (618) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle - from sampler pack. Light copper color - cloudy. Hoppy aroma. OK. Pretty hoppy but not the best flavor hops. Pretty one-dimensional, too. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2013
12oz bottle, thanks to Casey. Poured into my IPA glass. Half hazy amber color. Thin off-white head. Good mountains of lace. Nice citrusy lightly piney nose. Kind of spicy in the taste. Lightly resiny. Moderate bitterness. Medium to bigger body. Good smooth lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Solid IPA, great aroma. Kind of an unnecessary bite in the finish, though. The fascinating citra hop really carries this.
