Sampled while standing in line at DLD copper in color with off white head aromas of citrus and piney hops flavor of pine and citus with a little maltness coming thourgh GMUcrew7 (577) - Mason, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2009
Pours cloudy dark copper color with bits of yeast and a nice light beige head. Great grapefruit and pine hop aroma. The flavor is similar, a lot of citrus, some pine and grass. The body is indeed crisp and somewhat dry. Very enjoyable IPA, kind of like a Two Hearted light, similar flavor but not as much character. cheap (5856) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 30, 2009
"Chunks in my glass from the gunk on the bottom of the bottle. Some as large as one inch flakes, quite alarming. Smells like pine needles. First taste is very rude and unkind to my lager lover taste buds. Reminds me somewhat of chewing an inner tube. Strong alky laced turpentine tar flavors. Pine trees and green grapefruits will rejoice! Bitter long medicianl finish that reminds me of the best DIIPAs. Good carbonation for an IPA. Oily unrefined hops finish. Simply terrible and on style. Bottle at Detroit airport pre DLD trip... Copper ... big foam head ... nice bright pine hop nose ... big hop front ... bit over fizzy ... juicy pine and grapefruit.

Source: 12 oz bottle purchased from Friar Tucks in Bloomington.
Appearance: Poured a hazy gold/orange color with a two finger white head that dissipated into a bunch of lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, pine and grass. Citrus was mainly oranges. Very grassy.
Flavor: Solid malt backbone, slightly sweet. Pine and citrus hops. Lingering bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with a slick mouthfeel and solid carbonation.
Overall: Good beer. Kind of a hemp bomb, but very well balanced.
Very hazy orange-copper with lasting foam. Aroma of orange peel, pineyness and hop acidity. Flavor is very skewed to the hops, which I love. Body leaves much to be desired, it feels light and fizzy. I love the hoppyness but I really with there were a touch more body. Lasting finish with a good acidy feel. screigh (737) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 24, 2009
Poured a copper color with a huge fluffy head. Don’t know if it’s by design but this thing looks like a mud puddle. There is so much floating in it that it cannot be seen through. Kind of off-putting look. Aroma is weak with a smell of dirt and chlorine. Mouthfeel is light. Slight bitterness. Seems almost bland. I wouldn’t call this an IPA if judged blindly. nuplastikk (6256) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 23, 2009
12oz bottle. Deep orange-brown color, nice thin but lasting creamy head. Chunky floaters. Lots of earthy hop aromas. The taste is bitter and earthy, with a touch of dark malt coming through. Very balanced, with a thick resiny hop side. Smooth onthe palate. Great. drpimento (3634) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - APR 22, 2009
Pretty decent brew. Poured with a nice head and some lace. Color is an amber on the dark side. Aroma is very hoppy with a little grapefruit and some muskiness, malty. Flavor is as described: on the dry side, hop bitter, very good carbonation. drinkable. Hoppy finish with almost no sweetness.
