Bottle. Lots of microfloaties in this one, dark orange-golden in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. Some lacings. The aroma is rather weak, with some grass, pine cones and orange zest. Pale malts, bitterness and a grassy, orangey touch. Full to medium body and a nice carbonation level. Semi-dry. Lasting finish with some oranges and resins, as well as a good bitterness. A decent one, but a tad boring I think. 141219 Rasmus40 (20807) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2014

Pours hazy deep golden with a lot of small flooties and a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral, orange and hint of yeast. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at mother Kelly’s a very nice beet with some good grassy hop flavours going on. Little bitter on the aftertaste I would highly recomend this beer its a very good one miquelcrush (2053) - Granollers, SPAIN - NOV 20, 2014

Keg at the Kings Arms, London. It pours a clear golden color with a big white head. Aroma is hoppy on the tropical fruit notes. Lots of mango and peach, awsome. Taste is along the same lines, very hoppy and fruity with nice bitterness, but not overpowering. Nice oily body with good carbonation. Bottle. Pours murky burnt orange with thin white head that dissipates. Hop forward aroma over mild carbonation. Decent flavor but limited complexity

I decided to open this at the same time with 2 other single hopped dark horse IPA’s. Not much aroma from any of them. They all look pretty close to the same. Dark orange with off white head. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home about to watch game 7 of the World Series. Appearance is a bright ruby with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, light grapefruit, light pine, potent but not overpowering. Taste goes down with a moderate abrasiveness, which is interesting considering the ABV, thick, high on the malt but with a hoppy profile. Interesting stuff, overall pretty good. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 23, 2014
12oz bottle pours a murky orange with some thin, ringing white head. Nose has lemon notes, mildly floral, mild pear, some pine, some soap. I expected more. The nose is a bit muddled. Flavor kind of follows malt, a little honeycomb, some preserved lemon, a little guava, even a little agave, some pine as well. Medium bodied, lightly sticky finish. The least successful of the three single hop beers I tried.
