Bottle. Lots of microfloaties in this one, dark orange-golden in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. Some lacings. The aroma is rather weak, with some grass, pine cones and orange zest. Pale malts, bitterness and a grassy, orangey touch. Full to medium body and a nice carbonation level. Semi-dry. Lasting finish with some oranges and resins, as well as a good bitterness. A decent one, but a tad boring I think. 141219 brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Hazy orange pour with a white head. Kind of a weird nose. Hints of banana but an otherwise straightforward bread, floral hop, pine, and grapefruit aroma. Slight sweetness of bread and banana on the palate. Some pine bitterness, grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. A touch of grass and tropical fruit on the finish. Benzai (15624) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2016
Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear orange golden color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts and hops. Taste malts, hops, light tropical fruits, hop bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. - Note: with all of those new beers coming out the last couple of years this is "just a decent IPA". Probably would have rated this a firm 4+ 5 years ago.
