2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml bottle. Pours dark caramel with a small head. Aroma is spicy bread with some apple and raisin. Taste is sweet with raisin and caramel, a bit acrid.
Hazed dark copper color with a moderate sized, cream colored head. Aromas of hearty bread, honey, light orange, and fresh cut flowers. Some stale scents of earth and damp grain as well. Quite sweet in the start with wheat and honey. Earthy grain in the middle. Floral hops in the finish. Just doesn’t mesh for me. 5/12

Color miel / té. Espuma contenida. Dark hazy orange colour with a minimal white head. Aroma of malts, fruit and caramel. Taste is sweet at the begining with citrus fruits, caramel and sugar. Aftertaste is no intense and has no rock and roll. The label is horrible. Next one please! Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Clear copper color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, toffee and earthy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. angel77 (3751) - oviedo, SPAIN - MAR 13, 2014

This "Polish Style Kolsch Ale" seemed more like an Altbier to me, but I won’t quibble because it was enjoyable. It had a light brownish amber body with a modest creamy head and some slippery lace. The aroma had woody dry malt and toast. It tasted of crisp toast with a dry earthy bitterness and a touch of wood. Simple yet tasty. weark (857) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - FEB 5, 2014
Bottle from Erzbierschof / Dark amber color, small off-white head / Aroma is malty, bread, caramalt, hints of citrusy hops / Flavor is malty, caramel, green tea / Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet, low bitterness, sweet caramel finish / really good but a little bit too sweet Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2014
This one poured a lighter blonde color with a white head. Aroma was of grass, pale grain, sugar, and glue. Flavor was similar, almost butterscotchy, light grassy hops and stale pale malt. Lowenbrau (4686) - Asturias, SPAIN - NOV 26, 2013
33cl bottle @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Malty, caramel and fruity aromas. Pours hazy amber with little vanishing off-white head, no lacing. Medium body, oily-silky texture, average to soft carbonation. Taste is fruity, caramel, sweet. Sticky palate. Quite nice and enjoyable, but nothing to do with a kölsch. Nuffield (4189) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 7, 2013
This isn’t awe-inspiring but it isn’t bad either. Pours dark amber/wooden without much head. Multiple flavor dimensions, suggesting caramel and then some raisin, bread, and grass. Obviously Germanic hopping. A touch of sweetness, some richness and more warmth than expected from 5.5% alcohol. Interesting anyway. Bottle.
