jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottle sampled at Clockwork’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a murky body with no lacing or head. Aroma is dusty funk and really nothing else. Mouthfeel is medium with weird heat, faint acidity - neither of which really balance each other. Doesn’t work.

Marheb (6336) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 31, 2013
(Critique chaotique du extreme beer fest 2013): Peu d’effervescence, fruits exotiques, plus sucré qu’acidulé. Intéressant.

nimbleprop (8949) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Sampled at EBF. Pours a clear amber with almost no head. Big fruit aroma, tart, star fruit, grapefruit, sticky smelling. Flavor is tons of tropical fruit, slightly tart, light orange. Medium bodied, tart, sweet finish. Very fruity.

AdamChandler (5208) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Hazy fig color Very acetic. Dragon fruit is dominating. Very sour and intense. Almost boozy. Finish is oak and grape skins

j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a hazy amber with a good amount of floaty swirly little bits. A good amount of acetone, similar to the blood orange. Behind all of the acetone there’s a touch of fruit and funk, but the acetone overpowers everything. Medium bodied, soft fruit, loads of acetone, tangy with a bit of caramel. Lingering acid, more acetone.

thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle from Mike (who didn’t know how bad this beer was and apologized numerous times.) Thanks for the gesture though! Pours a clear golden with big head. Once the cap was taken off this thing started to semi-gush out with just bubbles. No lack of carbonation. Aroma is a harsh cheese funk with loads of Acetone and some vanilla. Taste is more acetone and vinegar with some cinnamon and sweet fruit near the tail end of the taste. Just not good and off to say the least. Couldn’t finish a glass. What a mess.

blipp (9929) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle at James’ place. Pours hazy gold with a white head. A little bit of nail polish remover, but not as offensive as the Blood Orange version, with some light berry sweetness and tartness. Not bad.

rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 6, 2013
tap at 2013 michigan winter beer festival. very strange flavor. fruity but not nearly as tart as i expected. seems a bit off, but it is an interesting combination of flavors.

jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle from MBrady. 150 of 304. Shared at tasting at my house. Pours orange gold. Nose and taste of acetone, soured fruit, dragonfruit and nail polish. Slight earthiness. Acetone and nail polish is less pronounced than in Blood Orange but still there.

djd07 (16314) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Bottle thanks to Ryan. Pours a cloudy orange with paperthin white head. The aroma is strong funk and vinegar. Medium mouthfeel wth light sour fruit and nice tart finish. Easy to drink a good fruit lambic from Dark Horse.
