Bottle from MBrady. 150 of 304. Shared at tasting at my house. Pours orange gold. Nose and taste of acetone, soured fruit, dragonfruit and nail polish. Slight earthiness. Acetone and nail polish is less pronounced than in Blood Orange but still there. djd07 (15544) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Bottle thanks to Ryan. Pours a cloudy orange with paperthin white head. The aroma is strong funk and vinegar. Medium mouthfeel wth light sour fruit and nice tart finish. Easy to drink a good fruit lambic from Dark Horse. crossovert (13909) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Not quite the abomination that is the blood orange. It is still acetone city with just an awkward and disgusting flavor. j12601 (13114) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a hazy amber with a good amount of floaty swirly little bits. A good amount of acetone, similar to the blood orange. Behind all of the acetone there’s a touch of fruit and funk, but the acetone overpowers everything. Medium bodied, soft fruit, loads of acetone, tangy with a bit of caramel. Lingering acid, more acetone. blipp (9696) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle at James’ place. Pours hazy gold with a white head. A little bit of nail polish remover, but not as offensive as the Blood Orange version, with some light berry sweetness and tartness. Not bad.

On draft at 4 Elves (from notes). Pours caramel with no real carbonation or lacing. Smells and tastes of acetone and fruit. Below average on the palate. Disappointing. nimbleprop (8761) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Sampled at EBF. Pours a clear amber with almost no head. Big fruit aroma, tart, star fruit, grapefruit, sticky smelling. Flavor is tons of tropical fruit, slightly tart, light orange. Medium bodied, tart, sweet finish. Very fruity. jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottle sampled at Clockwork’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a murky body with no lacing or head. Aroma is dusty funk and really nothing else. Mouthfeel is medium with weird heat, faint acidity - neither of which really balance each other. Doesn’t work. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Bottle shared at Dan’s Birthday Tasting (Lyons, IL). Pours a nice deep amber orange hue, firmer haze, decent glow, a bit darker. Loose bubbly head dies down to a mellow film, laces small. Aromas are dragonfruit, acedic acid qualities, a touch of nail polish, tropical fruit and gentle citrus. A touch of bready malts, some firm acidity. Initial is firmer fruit, mellow to low carbonation. Touches of nail polish, acidity, dragon fruit and tropical fruit. Some gentle citrus, dragon fruit, bread, and lactic elements. Middle is citrus, fruit, and dragon fruit. Backend is more acedic, trailing off effectively. Lactic and acedic acidity linger through it. Tropical fruit, some citrus, the dragon fruit element is distinct. Finish is a touch harsh, but not as bad as I expected. As a sour it’s underwhelming and a bit harsh. The dragonfruit element is interesting, but overall the beer still suffers from acedic problems and a difficulty in drinking. Not quite Blood Orange, a little undercarbonated. But.. meh.
