Shocked at the score on this, best beer of our tasting for sure... clear medium peach body, nice tan head... the nose is wonderful really sour peaches with a hint of lactose notes, great... the taste is equally impressive, sour peaches but brings enough sweetness of the peaches to give great sweet and sour balance, a little honey and apricots as well... get this SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - APR 5, 2011
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours murky gold with fizzy white head. Aroma is tart and acidic with subtle notes of peach. Flavor is similar with a very faint sweetness and sour. Light body with soft fizzy carbonation. Very good brew!

750 ml shared at Kan’s. Thanks! Pours a rich darker golden hue, good haze, a frothy bigger offwhite head laces small. Aromas are sour peaches, grainy bread, wet oak and vanilla with some lactic acid, touches of tart fruit and citrus. Initial is lighter bodied, up front is nice big apricot and peach, with bready malts, some lactic acid, lemons, grass, wet oak and vanilla. Real moderate sour, rich peach and apricot, wet oak, lactic, touches of sourness grow on the palate, really nice moderate sour and deep peach finish. Sour but not overbearing, highly drinkable. It’s not Mae, but it’s pretty damn good. A surprise with rich peach, wet oak, yogurt and lactic acid. Mmmmm. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2011
Dark horse peach wants lambeak. 750ml bottle from a recent trade...
Pours a medium orangey copper brown and topped with a thin soapy
white head...aroma of sharp apricoty but not as distinct in flavor.
Mildy like sour, nicely developed. With a light lacto sourness thrown in there for good measure. flavors follow suit nicely and consistently as a matter of fact. sour pale fruit, peach is tough to pick out distinctively so more of a mingling of various fruit profiles. nice easy going sourness while not adding too much in the way of an acidic nature. good bodied with adequate carbonation. a pleasant surprise.
