A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is fantastic with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and hops, in a very fine mixture. The flavor is very roasted, which gives it a dryness, but also rather sweet, leading to a good bitter end. Nice. joergen (28106) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2006

Bottlesd at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Opaque pitch black, minimal beige head. Earthy raw licorice aroma. Sweet and very fullm bodied with well rounded mildly viscous mouthfeel. Earth and crude oil, raw licorice and milk chocolate. Mellow and relatively balanced for such a big beer. Irish cream finish with chocolate and alcohol heat. Quite nice for being an oversized Imperial stout. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2006
