3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Tap: Orange body, expecting more of a ruby color. Muddled and cloudy with a soapy and foamy off white head. Aroma is some fresh raspberry juice, lightly sweet, faint flowery hops - very light and fresh. Mild earthy/grassy and dirty notes. Taste lightly tart (very light) and juicy, borderline sugary raspberry up front. Mild hops, light and leafy, touch of flower pedals. Thin to medium mouth feel. Mild carbonation, leaves a mild chalky feeling. Not bad... much, much better than DH’s Raspberry Ale.
Very noticeable raspberry, not bitter but the hops are there with some sligh fruity bite. Tmoney99 (14963) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Draft. Poured a hazy reddish copper color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and berry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet berry flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
