GuideDogSaint (1809) - Xiamen, CHINA - JAN 17, 2018
355ml bottle from Tasty Life, Xiamen. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of malt with orange. Sweet orange taste. Sweet finish with a little bitterness.

bottle - Copper pour. Smells of caramel and bready malt and oranges. Flavor is similar and on the malty sweet side with mild bitterness. Medium bodied. Okay, overall.

maekchu (4098) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 27, 2017
Bottle. Thanks to Nate. Fuzzy stone fruit nose, dates, a bit of citrus zestiness. Light copper color. Mild fruity initial, with some strawberry and thin sweet stone fruit, and little slices of oranges. Fades out pretty quickly. Thin-medium body.... a bit watery, actually. Nose is impressive, but flavors are quite mild.

KyotoLefty (10808) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 27, 2017
Bottle. Nose of orange, biscuit, some caramel, grass, some pine. Juicy and biscuity with orange flavor but not the overwhelming citrus of so many others of this type. Decent.

12floz bottle, freshness date xx.xx.2017 (rubbed off), $2 for a single, nonic glass conveyance. Eh, it is blood orange in color for sure with one-finger of head (automatic 5 for appearance just for aptness). I give aroma a 5, because while orange zest is there it is staid. Taste and palate I give a 7 and 4 respectively. A pretty-well balanced ale that is equal parts hops and malt. Additives add a little zing to what is a lightly toasted, bready, and sessionable. Overall decent (14). I could go for another, but Dark Horse beers aren’t widely distributed in my area.

B. Pours a clear burnt orange color with white head. The orange flavor isn’t over powering

willisread (3800) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 27, 2017
Bottle from J’s. Pours a clearish, deep copper with a finger of foam that lingers then dissipates. Malty, caramel forward nose. Toffee and overripe blood orange. Thin and sweet. Too sweet and heavy for what it is. Need less malt and more hops.

unclemike (3195) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Pours a hazy orangish gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of musty grain with some earthy citrus and a hint of bitterness. Flavor has sweet citrus and earthy grains with a bit of a biscuit note underlying.

3.5
Shag (3059) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - APR 29, 2017
A dark orange to copper color with a white head. The aroma contains some oranges and herbal notes. The flavor is more malty than anything not what I expected with some caramel, toffee, and oranges. This is a straight up EPA. Overall it is not bad some good flavors and very easy drinking.

3.2
drpimento (3814) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 15, 2017
Aroma’s fairly mild with malt and a bit of orange. Flavor’s lacking in hops for a pale ale: a little butterscotch and orange. A fairly ho hum beer.
