S.L.A.S.M. is our most Aromatic IPA. This India Pale Ale is very reminiscent of the hop’s cousin in the Mulberry family. Lots of hop aroma with just the right amount of bitterness as we like to keep balance around here. Between the secret blend of the most DANK hops we can get our hands on and a "more than healthy" dose of double dry hopping, this beer can be announced to the nose from across the room that someone is definitely having a Safety Meeting.

Draft at the Double-Wide Grill in Pittsburgh. This was good but not as great for me as the ratings tend to believe. Like most IPA beers these days it was probably overdone on many accounts.

From the tap at IRON Restaurant in Grand Rapids. Hazy orange color, white head. Herbal aroma, I didn’t catch any weed smell. Hoppy flavor and a massive bitterness in the finish

Ratman197 (14668) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2017
Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, pine and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, earthiness and light pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Not sure how this beer gets its smoky backbone, but I sure do like it. Big, juicy resinous hops take the forefront, pine and grapefruit and weed on top of a big sticky caramel bun with an unexpected dose of char on the finish. Dry and bitter, with a dank green nose and no trace of the 9% ABV. Nice DIPA.

decaturstevo (6240) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - APR 26, 2017
Orange pour with tan head. Aroma is bready malt and resiny hops. Flavor is sweet malt and resiny hops. Medium body with full bitter

Shag (2981) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - APR 22, 2017
Copper color with a beige head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, toffee, and citrus. The flavor is Arrogant Bastard-ish with some caramel. toffee, citrus, and chocolate. This is much more of a strong ale than an Impy IPA. . Overall well balanced but a little more malty than bitter. Its good

FraekkeFyr87 (530) - - FEB 6, 2017
The aroma is full of hops, caramel malt, barley, citrus, pine and dried fruits. The color is dark red, caramel-like. The head is minimal and yellowish frothy. The taste is full of hops, caramel malt, dried fruits, pine, citrus, lemon zest and elderflower. Not impressing at all!

Lore (2661) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 26, 2016
hazy dark orange to amber colour, medium sized creamy yellowish off-white head; aroma of tropical fruits, pine resin, biscuits, floral notes and marmalade; perfectly balanced bittersweetness with marmalade, tropical fruity notes, biscuits, honey, pine resin and hints of boiled vegetables; excellent IIPA
