Deep copper with a white head. Strong citrus and resinous hops balanced by a hefty malt presence. Full body. Finish is lightly sweet but with plenty of rough hop bitterness. Good brew. brigg (726) - New York, USA - OCT 19, 2017
(Bottle) Murky orange-brown body with small light-beige head. Aroma of overripe fruit (apple, pear, banana, orange; caramel, syrup. Medium body. Flavor is medium sweet, strong bitterness; acidic grapefruit; spiced and peppery; funky. patrick767 (4474) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 15, 2017
bottle - Cloudy amber pour, smells of resinous hops and some citrus. The flavor is of course big on the hops bitterness. There's pine and a little citrus along with some caramel malt. Very good. Gluepot (777) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2017
Well crafted, top to bottom. A lush orange/caramel body with a solid, well laced off-white head. The nose features dank hops from the dry hopping, dried fruit, booze and bready malt. The dank hops continue in the taste profile. Rindy hops, caramel, dried sweet fruit, apricots and smooth sweet malt work well together. A balanced finish, rich but not sticky body and roasted malt aftertaste all work for me. commonmac (1381) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 26, 2017
Tap at the brewery with the whole crew. 12oz pour in a half hour glass. Deep amber and orange combine to make a pleasant copper color. Lacing and head are an off white. Aroma is dank and piney citrus. Taste is malty underneath but the hops are allowed to prosper and shine. Dank continues to be a theme with pine resin holding strong. Alcohol burn present. Safety in numbers lends me to believe more of these should be consumed.

12 oz bottle in a lager glass.
Pours with a clear copper colored body topped by a modest size bone colored head that has excellent retention.
Indeed, it smells. No idea why this would be like a safety meeting. To me it suggests fresh citrus juice, some baked bread and dank hops. The flavor largely follows, but with more malt presence, medium bitterness rather than being sweet, and a lower ABV than the aroma suggests.
Overall: excellent DIPA. MarkSachon (1063) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Draft at the Double-Wide Grill in Pittsburgh. This was good but not as great for me as the ratings tend to believe. Like most IPA beers these days it was probably overdone on many accounts. randy1969 (137) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2017
From the tap at IRON Restaurant in Grand Rapids. Hazy orange color, white head. Herbal aroma, I didn’t catch any weed smell. Hoppy flavor and a massive bitterness in the finish Ratman197 (15742) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2017
Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, pine and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, earthiness and light pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish. oobawa (1919) - Tennessee, USA - APR 28, 2017
Not sure how this beer gets its smoky backbone, but I sure do like it. Big, juicy resinous hops take the forefront, pine and grapefruit and weed on top of a big sticky caramel bun with an unexpected dose of char on the finish. Dry and bitter, with a dank green nose and no trace of the 9% ABV. Nice DIPA.
