COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
S.L.A.S.M. is our most Aromatic IPA. This India Pale Ale is very reminiscent of the hops cousin in the Mulberry family. Lots of hop aroma with just the right amount of bitterness as we like to keep balance around here. Between the secret blend of the most DANK hops we can get our hands on and a "more than healthy" dose of double dry hopping, this beer can be announced to the nose from across the room that someone is definitely having a Safety Meeting.

Safety is in the eye of the beholder and unless safety to other people smells like smashed bottles and, later that night, a DUI this does not smell like that. Weed, on the other hand........... Thats closer.... Much closer. This is one of those thick brutal boozy self-destructive ipa. So boozy 3 will make you scream at your friends for liking things you dont like but so intensely hoppy you cant taste it. I like it. But Noone around me likes it...

johndoughty (5180) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2016
Bottle. Slightly murky brown appearance. Floral flavours and hops merge together to produce a misleadingly easy to drink beer. Strange label-impressive beer.

tmoreau (4002) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2016
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. and dispensed to a snifter showing a clear, amber hue, with a frothy layer of off white/light tan head foam, and sheeting, wave-like spray to the lacing. The nose was dank, sweetness, and esters as ripe fruit, berries, pit fruit, and citrus. Medium bodied, with okay carbonation, the taste included pronounced & lingering intensity to the citrusy, earthy, and rind-like bitterness, amped by a decent alcohol presence. Expressive, single IPA beginning that definitely finished with double status.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, toasted caramel, and lots of fruity esters. Flavour brings out a huge spicy and earthy hop quality, with a fair degree of dankness, and toasted dry caramel malt backing. Very expressive in the hop department, with a lovely spicy and earthy finish. Excellent.

Foxbush (1922) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 27, 2016
Draft at Capital Ale House in Innsbrook The ale poured a clear dark amber color with an off white head and lacing. This is a very attractive beer. The aroma of floral hops and caramel mats. The medium body ale has average carbonation. There is nicely balanced bitterness which is realized more in the back of the mouth. Despite impressive hop flavor, bitterness is smooth and rounded, and the alcohols deftly hidden.
