Pours opaque coffee brown with a nice tan head. Aroma features roast malt, molasses, coffee, and, yes, subtle blueberry notes. I LOVE blueberries! Flavor delivers roast malt, molasses, caramel, blueberry, mocha, and fleeting toffee tones. Mouthfeel presents firm body and strong, lively fizz. Berry good! johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2013

Draft on tap at Dark Lord Day (Munster, IN). Pours a rich deepish black pour, opaque and dark with a frothy brownish head atop, stays as a good layer, laces ok. Aromas are gentle tartness, blueberry and roast, some fudge and cocoa. Gentle lactic and funk elements. Initial is medium bodied, a bit more full, cool and tart, some blueberry and roast, cocoa and coffee. Middle is gentle dryness, cocoa, some blueberry skins. Toffee, toast, and biscuits. Some caramel, darker fudgey malts meet tartness, blueberry. The sour element is gentle but there. Gentle funk, dryness, and roast. Finish is roasty, tart, and blueberry essence. More dry and roasty, a touch of body lingers. Pretty nice.
