Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee, light liquorice. Flavour is roasty, malty, more chocolate and coffee, low sweetness, low bitterness. Smooth and easy Porter, could have used a bit thicker body.

[Tap] Pours an opaque dark brown color with a small cap of light brown head on top. Aromas of deep roasted malts, anise, earthy hops and milk chocolate. Flavor notes include lots of chocolate, some wood ash, licorice, vanilla, oats and some coffee. Creamy and velvety mouthfeel. Low levels of carbonation. Nice!

Pours pitch black with a tan head that disappears quickly. Notes of chocolate and slight coffee make it slightly creamy without making it to heavy.

calm_dreamer (160) - GREECE - MAY 21, 2014
Pitch black medium to thin body, creamy thin brown foam head. Intense aroma of chocolate, a bit of coffee, something like bourbon barrel, roasted barley. Extremely balanced taste. Bitter coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and something like bitter Baileys cream. Lasting mild bitter aftertaste with a note of alcohol. Subtle carbonation.

Temptation (257) - - MAY 19, 2014
I expected more, basically in the nose and in the looking. Nevertheless, the mouthfeel is great with notes of chocolate, vanilla and a creamy finish really good. But, taking the overall, it remains unbalanced. A pity.

StoutHead (965) - DENMARK - MAY 12, 2014
Bottle. Pours completely black with a big tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and something salty. Aftertaste is of lightly roasted malt, licorice and salt. Medium body, average carbonation and slightly bitter finish. It’s not bad, but I’m glad I’m having this before I go to bed...because it’s nothing worth getting out of bed for. Above average, but that’s about it.

35,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, Copenhagen
Aroma is nice with some sweet tones and cocoa. Flavour has licorice, cocoa, some vanilla and sugar. Sweetish but very nice.
