Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Really dreadful looking label and a daft name to boot. Dark brown pour with a meek tan head. Traces of roast, malts, dark fruit and choc in the beak. Similar elements unfurled in the sweetish taste with some hops chipping in. Decent smooth fullish mouthfeel. Actually a very drinkable porter that has plenty of character. kevinsenn (2215) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2014

Pours black, small tight head. Messy mashy grainy aroma. Smooth sweet palate, nice carbonation. Pleasant roast, hint of mocha and cakishness. Nice bitter hop finish, quite gentle, late finish has a gorgeous soft roasty finish. Bit of dark coffee - lovely. Totally covers the 7%. However, it’s a bit weak in some ways. That late finish is the best bit, easily.

Bottle. dark brown with a small head Chocolate dominates and the overall taste is dry. Well balanced and easy to drink, even if it is a bit unusual. Christos (5792) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2014
Bottle 330 ml, from Secret Sinterklaas, thanks! Into a snifter, ABV 7%
Black in colour with almost two fingers of beige head, good retention, light lacing left on the glass and big foamy bubbles on the surface.
Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, light alcohol.
Taste of bitter chocolate, a bit fruity too, burnt malts. Slighty sweet, turns to a nice bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium body, good carbonation.
Really nice, even better after it warmed up a bit. Torrefacto (1675) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 30, 2014
Color caoba oscuro, espuma beige. Aromas de café, frutos rojos y hierbas. En boca tiene densidad media-baja y da al principio un ligero dulzor pronto sobre pasado por un amargor seco, acafetado y con toques de vegetales. Rica. Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 27, 2014
Very average beer. DId they need this beer? They already have a better porter but this one has some nice milk chocolate notes and dark fruits. Average.
